Wondering What Samuel Thinks

002

I saw this photo of five-month old Samuel Daigneault in an old 1991-92 Canadiens magazine.

Samuel would be about 22 now, and is older than Alex Galchenyuk, Brendan Gallagher, Nathan Beaulieu, and Jarred Tinordi. He’s about the same age as Louis Leblanc.

I wonder if Samuel’s a Habs fan.

I wonder if he’s not as sure about Carey Price as he used to be.

Does he think the team is too small?

Does he agree that David Desharnais didn’t have a banner season?

Does he hate the Bruins and Leafs?

Is he a big P.K.Subban fan?

Did the lockout turn him off hockey?

Does he feel the price of beer at the Bell Centre is too high?

What a cute kid, and I hope Samuel, whoever he is and wherever he is, is doing well.

  1. Hey Dennis,

    I just found this post typing my name on Google and I was a little bit surprise to see that picture of me that I never post online ! What a weird coincidence … Well I still have the magazine at home as well as a souvenir. So here am I awnsering your questions ;

I wonder if Samuel’s a Habs fan ? Of course, I still live in Montreal and I watch every game I can. I’ll avoid talking about the last games …

Does he think the team is too small? Depend what you mean by small … I for sure think we’re still a “small team” and we’re missing a good center. Let’s see if MB will do something before Monday.

Does he agree that David Desharnais didn’t have a banner season? David who ? haha. We all agree that he’s better on the bench.

Does he hate the Bruins and Leafs? No choice, it’s part of being a Habs fan !

Is he a big P.K.Subban fan? Even if it’s now off topic , I still think it was a good trade. Wasn’t it ?

Does he feel the price of beer at the Bell Centre is too high? Of course. You better drink a few ones before you get in.

So this is it ! I’m currently 26 y/o , not a hockey player earning milions, but i’m doing well following my own path.

    Cheers !

    Samuel Daigneault

  2. Samuel, what a great picture that was of you in the magazine. And I can’t say enough about you coming here and answering those little questions, which I never expected in a million years. Hope you’re doing great and I thank you for checking in. I’m really thrilled about this. And yes, I think it was a good trade too!

  3. Samuel, in thinking back about your picture in the magazine, I’m almost sure that it’s the same issue that had a little story about me with some Habs fans in Russia!

  4. I should take a picture of me with the magazine and send it to you ! This will make a great post for your blog and for sure an amazing story to tell. These kind of things dont happen everyday …
