Wishing All The Best To You

I can close my eyes and see Christmas when I was a little boy. Waking up to presents under the tree, a new hockey stick in plain view, and sometimes, if my dad, er, Santa, got really lucky, there might even be a hockey ticket to see the Montreal Canadiens just a couple of hours away in Toronto at Maple Leaf Gardens. Then it was outside to play road hockey in my new Montreal Canadiens sweater and toque, until the street got dark and my toes got frozen.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you who come here to read my blog. It’s extremely important to me to have the type of readers I have – well informed, smart, friendly, and you keep me on my toes constantly. The insights you offer and the passion you have makes me strive to make some kind of sense when I write about the Habs. Because I know If I screw up, you’ll be all over me like a quarterback on a cheerleader.
Even those who read but don’t comment, thanks a lot too. I know you’re out there because the hits keep climbing, and If you feel like it sometime, have your say too. It’s a lot of fun when a whole bunch of Habs fans get together and decide how to fix things.
Have a terrific Christmas and a beautiful New Year. You’re all great. And we’ll go along for the ride together as the Habs pick it up a notch in 2010

I’ve really enjoyed your blog Dennis, so many interesting tidbits about our favorite team and your collection of memorabilia is fantastic. Here’s to another year of being thrilled over victories and agonizing over every defeat. It’s what we Hab fans do best!
Cheers, enjoy the holidays!

Merry Christmas to you and your family Dennis. It has been an honour and a delight to share opinions with you and all the wonderful DK-bloggers. I hereby toast them with this glass of egg nog for all their fine contributions.
And as for the Habs, they sure have had their ups and downs so far this season, but I truly believe the turning point has come.
My brother will soon be giving my dad that magnificent CH rug to put in front of his fireplace.
The hockey gods are sure to smile on us now.
Derry, the Leafs will be raked, bagged, put to the curb and composted as they so richly deserve. Can’t wait for it.
To everyone – all the best for the festive season.

Merry Christmas Dennis and to your readers as well. Have a safe holiday. That seems most important and relax. That’s the part I enjoy most is being away from the pressures of work and able to sit and watch ‘A Christmas Carol’ with my daughter. We’re gonna rock tomorrow in TO. 3 wins to begin a road trip??? When did we do that last?! Been a while but enjoying it.
