It’s important to win the season opener against the Laffs tonight. Set the tone. And then again on Saturday when they host the orange guys.
Because after that it’s the Western Canada tour, with stops in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Winnipeg, where things don’t always go as planned.
If the boys can be at least .500 after these first six games, I feel it’s a job well done. More than that and it’s sensational.
The Western swing, always considered a bonding experience, might not be quite that if the boys lose to those two unmentionables in the first two affairs. Guys could be uptight out west instead of focused and bonding.
It’s the proverbial one game at a time. Right from the get-go.
