Ridiculous Display In Nashville

Fifty-five shots on goal. How sad is that, for the Montreal Canadiens to allow 55 shots in a completely unimpressive 2-0 loss to the Predators in Nashville, a team which isn’t pencilled in to win a whole lot of anything this year.

Claude Lemieux Sings Better Than Me. (And Probably You Too).

Claude Lemieux, that dirty-nosed, blue-collared, sometimes-scorer, sometimes diver/turtler scoundrel who toiled for the Montreal Canadiens from 1995 until1990 and was a big factor in them winning the Stanley Cup in 1986, has surprised the heck out of me.
Lemieux is one of three finalists in Battle of the Blades, the CBC show which pairs hockey players with professional figure skaters. [...]

Will Hal Do The Triple Lutz Next Year?

I just saw my first Battle of the Blades, the CBC show featuring finalists Tie Domi, Stephane Richer, Claude Lemieux and Craig Simpson in a figure skating contest with gorgeous Olympic partners.
There’s no word just yet if Hal Gill will be a participant next year.
