  1. The fan pack consisted of individual team pictures, some crest stickers, and the towel fans waved during the playoffs.

  2. You made your point, Dennis. Now, whenever I see the flag bearer I will see you, if not in body in spirit. Hmmm, perhaps you should push Gaston for the job … afraid he might get it?

  3. Gaston doing this? Are you kidding? He’d spend all his time looking at women in the stands instead of doing his job. He’s embarrassed me enough.

  4. Well well what a sneaky way to aquire more items from Les Canadiens than I have,or someone from the orginization saw you the last time you laced up the blades!Just kidding DK but it shows our TEAM respects their long standing fan’s the Laughs would have blown you off !
    Les Canadiens Toujours !!!!!
    Cheers From The East.

  5. Denis:

Maybe you should have had a back-up plan and sent a letter to the Canucks suggesting that they adopt the same pre-game ceremony with you as a standard bearer? I know, it’s just not the same. I feel your pain. I knew Harvard was a stretch and was very disappointed to get the rejection letter. But, I had to go to college somewhere. Maybe you should shave, get some of that men’s hair coloring stuff, lie about your age and reapply. OK, it’s totally dishonest, but the end always justifies the means!

  6. They wrote you back!!!!! That’s so nice that they gave you a fan pack. Hey, I wonder if they would give bandwagon fans a fan pack too… You should post pictures of your fan pack.

  7. Reminds me of Kramer trying out as a ball boy (tennis):

Boy: Hey pops, isn’t there a better way to spend your twilight years?
Kramer: I may be old, but I’m spry.
Boy: The tryout lasts three-and-a-half to four hours. Are you up for it?
Kramer: Oh, I’ll be up for it, punk.
