The Bridgestone Winter Classic has been moved to 8pm Eastern because it’s raining but might stop by this time.
In hockey, it can rain boos and baseball hats and octopi, but it can never rain ‘rain’. It gets in the goalie’s eyes. And fans with umbrelllas block the view of the fans behind them with umbrellas.
I could even be a smart ass and say just move it the few hundred miles up the road to Hamilton, but it’s raining there too.
Regardless, somehow they’ll get it done. But will they think harder about doing it again next next?
And would you pay between $500 and $1200 to sit up in the nosebleeds in rain? Or even under a clear sky?
