My New/Old Calendar

When I was back in Orillia recently, an old friend drove up from Waterloo and he brought me a gift, one that he’d kept for many years and one I remember seeing it at his house years ago. It’s in bad shape, but it’s beautiful, this 1965-66 Canadiens Forum calendar.

Ron knew something like this would be near and dear to my heart, and he graciously passed it on.

Thanks, Ron. I’ll treasure it. He knows that. We’ve been talking Habs and hockey since the days when we played all those road hockey games, froze our toes, won Stanley Cups, and came in after our moms had called only five or ten times.
