Must-Win Tonight For The Habs
March 17, 2009 in Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers Tags: Habs, Montreal, New York, NHL playoffs, Rangers
In a nutshell, it looks like this. The Canadiens and Rangers, who play each other tonight, both have 80 points, just two points away from being out of the playoff picture. There’s nothing more I can add to this.

Let’s make it interesting! How about a prediction?
The Habs should finally be getting their act together under Gainey. The Avery Rangers seem to have some momentum.
I haven’t been regularly watching the Habs’ recent games, but what I saw when Gainey first took over didn’t look very good. But they’ve beaten the Rangers handily earlier this season, so I predict a win for the Habs, by at least two goals (I’m leaning towards 3, or 4 if they get an empty netter).

I like your prediction. Although I’m hoping for a 6-1 score. I forget what that’s like.

Except, maybe we should all pray to Saint Patrick.
