  1. I’m hearing that his condition is improving and not seriously life threatening, Dennis. You certainly do need him…..for some clones, perhaps. That has to be allowed ???

  2. Get better M. Jean, a game at the Bell Centre is automatically a classier event with you in the stands.

  3. What a class act,a man who will always have the class and charisma of a thousand people,I wish you bon chance Jean.

  4. Jean Beliveau stands high above the crowd as a legendary hero. I don’t think anyone comes close to Le Gros Bill in terms of class. A true gentleman and probably the finest ambassador hockey has ever had. Beliveau is the complete package, a gentle giant, a loveable man and every inch a champion.
We wish Jean a full and speedy recovery and all the best to his family during this difficult time.

  5. Danno, well written. I couldn’t agree more with your comments! Les Gros Bill was my idol growing up & I always chose #4 as my sweater playing junior hockey. I met Jean at a book signing of his book & it was like I was 10 years old again, what a thrill. My wife Diana was with me & when Jean realised she was with me he stood up to shake her hand and said how pleased he was to meet her. My wife said later that he was the most dignafied man she had ever met !! He is in a class all by himself, get well soon Jean you’re still my idol !!!
    Les Canadiens Sont La !!!!

  6. Mike, although I never met him personally, you can tell the man just oozes charisma, sincerity, charm and leadership.
We can sure use a man like Jean Beliveau on our current team right about now.
His name is not only engraved on the Cup, but it’s also engraved in all our hearts.
