Goodbye Dad

My dad and I went to see our Habs in Toronto when I was little, we got to Maple Leaf Gardens early, and as we stood in the corridor, much of team, maybe all of the team, walked by us – The Rocket, Beliveau, Plante, Geoffrion, Moore – everybody. Shortly after, we went down by the dressing room and dad asked Toe Blake if he would take my book in and get Doug Harvey to sign it, which amazingly, Blake did.
This morning my dad died. He was 92.
Orillia on the horizon.

My deepest condolences Dennis. I know how hard this is. I lost my Father in 2007 in Courtenay. Strangely enough, he passed away while our band was in Powell River.
Now I am here in Orillia with my wife acting as caregivers for my in-laws as my Father-in-law battles cancer. The cycle of life.
Take care Dennis. All the best
Randy

Dennis
We are with you in this sad time.
Your post, announcing the sad news is masterful, as usual.
Your father is proud.
