Canadian Juniors Come Back From 3-0 Deficit To Beat US 7-4
December 31, 2008 in International Hockey, Montreal Canadiens Tags: Habs, John Tavares, Montreal Canadiens, Team Canada Juniors, US Juniors
Team Canada, led by John Tavares who popped three goals, rallied from a three-nothing score against the Americans to win big.
John Tavares would look great in a Habs uniform. But alas, we don’t have a sniff. We’re going for first place, not last in the standings.

USA/Canada games are always so damn exciting. I can still remember the 2007 WJHC and that amazing 13 round shootout; That’s when Price earned so much respect including mine.

Was at the game last night and it may have been one of the best sporting events I’ve attended in my lifetime. What an atmosphere….the place was electric.Right up there with a Charlie Lee no hitter for the Expos in Montreal and Darryl Sitler’s 10 point game against the Bruins in Toronto.
GO CANADA GO!!!!!

Jim, were you at Sittler’s 10 point night? Tell me more.
And yes, that Junior game was amazing.
