  1. For maybe the first time ever I don’t agree with you Dennis. I have no problem with acknowledging a good play by an opponent especially when it is an opponent that was your teammate and was crucial in bringing your team so far in the playoffs and then in a rather unprecedented move got traded to another team. This isn’t Thomas or whoever in Philly, this is Halak and for a while at least he is still family in a way. Maybe if we had more players responding like Gomez did to Halak tonight we wouldn’t be wondering about the health of a young man who had become such a favourite. Does wanting to beat the other guy have to include a high level of animosity? I think have moved from the angry stage to the sad stage and the whole thing just seems to leave me very disillusioned right now.
