Very biblical, the Canadiens are a religion unto themselves, one which others are desperately trying to latch onto. Dennis, I think this makes you our prophet, lead us well, oh knowledgeable one.

Isn’t this a historical moment? He is going to be a 4th generation Hab. I don’t think this has ever been done before ever. I may be wrong though. This is why we are so great. We do amazing stuff like this.
Sadly a few more Cups would help in the “amazing” department but at least this is a first step.
I guess the fire sale has begun. They would not have sent Gill if they thought a playoff push was coming. Damn this season.

Dennis,
Given how old you are you didn’t have anything to do with writing that big book they leave around in in the side tables of hotel rooms did you?
There’s a similarity in style there. Perhaps you had a brother called Abel. There’s a story in there about Dennis and Abel I believe.

Blu Bayou, no, that wasn’t me who wrote that book, that was Sid Gideon, from the old neighbourhood. Sid thought everything was funny, hence the phrase, “feeling all giddy.” But yes, I did know Abel. I think I killed him but it’s all a blur now.

DK is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in red white and blue sweaters; He leads me beside quiet rooms filled with Habs stuff.
He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of dynasties For the Rocket’s name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of no playoffs, I fear no evil, for DK is with me; Your blog and Your stuff, they comfort me.

Darth, I’m still waiting for that six game winning streak. Can it happen? They have been playing better lately.

Chris, Blue Bayou says I’m so old I wrote Gideon’s bible. Just crazy. The Bible was written probably 10 or 20 years before I was born.

I believe Danny G played 39 games as a Hab – In order for Nashville to get the 5th round pick from Montreal Blake has to play 40 games next season with Montreal one more game than Danny’s whole career with The Habs…..

Martin, I think Danny’s time in Montreal was complicated with his dad coaching and all that. I just read a little about Blake and his dad didn’t believe him at first when he told him he’d been traded to Montreal, but once verything sunk in, I think the family is amazed and happy. It would be so great if Blake became a nice fit in a Habs uniform.
