An Apology

I’d like to apologize for not contributing more in the past 24 hours or so but I’ve been quite out of the loop, catching up on many years with old friends, and soon my brother will pick us up and take us to his place where I’ll meet my 12 year old niece for the first time.

It’s a busy time and I’ve not been able to get on the computer a lot.

Later today we go down to Ottawa’s Byward Market to watch a musician named Lucky Ron and will be joined by a friend of my friend who happens to be a huge Boston Bruins fan. I’m not sure what to think about this, and I hope we don’t end up rolling around on the sidewalk outside.

Canadiens meet Washington tonight and we need to see a different team tonight than we saw at the Blowout in Beantown. There’d better be a big improvement, it goes without saying.

Don’t make me come there, boys.

Again, I’m sorry I’m not doing a better job at this time. It’s beyond my control.

Go Habs!!!

  1. Dennis, it’s the perfect time for you not to rally the troops around this team we call the Habs. Take a well earned break. They’re lucky to have fans like us and blogs like yours.

  2. Dennis, what do you think of the Laff now? Did it change for the better? I think it had more character when it was more of a dive.

  3. Dennis,

At least you can point out to your friend that you’ve just seen a Bear lay an egg. If they’re following the same pattern as us they’ll ship a shedload of goals next game.

And go easy on the Harp (and I’m not talking a musical instrument).

  4. Hey Dennis,Wow ,an apology shouldnt come from you,it should be coming from the Habs themselves for their pitiful performance against the Bruins. You are on holidays right now, much like the Habs were last game.Let’s just hope that they can pull dust from their arses and and cap off the Capitals.

  5. Heard straight from the dressing room. The team refuses to score another goal until you return to the west coast. Please hurry back!

  6. Dennis you deserve a break. And why not? The Habs took the week off so why not you too.

1949 was the last time the Habs were blanked three games in a row.

  7. Don, I might have to drive down to Montreal and get in their face. And if that doesn’t work, I’ll get my wife to threaten them in Russian.

  8. They didn’t cap off the Caps, Derry. But they better get their arses in gear soon or there’s going to be a revolt.

  9. Blue Bayou, get on a plane and help us here. We need all hands on deck if we’re going to start a Habs revolt/revolution.
